Overview

I specialize in meta-analyses of behavioral science literature. Three projects are currently in-progress:

• a meta-analysis of vegan persuasion literature;
• a how-to guide for field experiments and identification strategies for sports scientists;
• an article and R package on the Paluck Lab’s approach to meta-analysis.

My work is generously supported by the NIH and by the Food Systems Research Fund.

Past work

Content marketing

• For Glo Foundation, I published content for

  • the website, e.g. thought leadership, product explanations, quarterly updates, information for job applicants, and marketing;
  • social media, both threads and stand alone posts;
  • external forums.
    • I also recorded some podcasts.

• For Code Ocean, I

  • co-authored the white paper;
  • wrote for the company blog;
  • guest wrote for a partner’s blog;
  • and occasionally wrote social media content.
    • I also presented Code Ocean at conferences, e.g. JupyterDay in the Triangle at UNC in 2018. One person said I was good!

Technical documentation

• I wrote about half of Code Ocean’s help pages, and all of the Reproducibility and Preservation and Tutorials sections.

• Lately I’ve been contributing pull requests to the Ethereum Foundation’s developer docs, e.g. 12390, 6619, 6651, 7759, 10741, and 10756.
